The Atari ST Preservation Project

Home News Resources Disc Images Email Links

16 October	It's been a while since any news has come forth, however I think
what I will do, is this. No more website maintenance, not for this
side of Christmas, so don't expect updates until the New Year.
I'll solely concentrate on going through my last discs and checking
the images for now, so this is it until after Xmas. Have a good one.
6 September	The Resources page is now more complete, and organised, but might
still be updated further. Now the remaining discs will be checked
and backed up, commencing this month.
21 August	Ok, for the rest of this month I'm going to spend my time working on
the Resources section, then next month start going through the last of
		the discs.
17 August	Haven't done very much lately actually, so I think its time to start
		going through the remaining discs.
2 August	The Resources page has now been started, with a beginning list of computer
		tools that I have used.
30 July I'm back ! Back from the holidays that is, and so back to everything...
Before I get on with the images, it's time to start developing that
Resources page, so watch this space, or rather, the Resources page.
6 July Ok, right well this is really just note to say that as the holiday season
has begun, i'm away off on holiday for a bit. So i'm having a break for
three weeks. But after i'm back, some real progress on the resources
and further ST images stuff will be on the go.
20 June 6 More TOS floppy discs have been logically saved. These include four
home compiled Atari games discs, Cubase and a formatting tools collection.
The number of ST images saved currently stand at 17.
15 May More discs have been backed up, including discs that contain undelete tools,
Sim City, my own working copy of Protext, K-Spread 2, another program boot
up disc, and Jack Nicklaus' Greatest 18 Holes Of Championship Golf (main disc
		and 1 extra course disc)
8 May Atari returns ! French video games publisher Infogrammes, who owns the
rights to Atari, have renamed themselves and adopted the Atari brand name
		and logo.
There's an idea, why don't you mail in about this with your thoughts,
whether you think that Infogrammes should have done this or not. If there
are enough letters I may open a new page for this topic, to publish your
		thoughts.
13 April	Three more discs have been backed up with MakeDisk, including Cubase Light,
a boot disc and a machine checking disc. Soon, once the images have been
checked, the Disc Images section will be available for browsing.
10 April	Project gets underway with the first floppy disc to get the project
treatment. First floppy backed up, an ST Format Cover Disc containing
		Protext (issue number 41)
